Academician of NAS and NAMS of Ukraine Komisarenko Serhiy
Vasyliovych, who shares the latest information and answers questions.

SARS-CoV-2 virus - is not a sentence for humanity, but only an RNA
molecule" Anatoliy Mykhaylovych Demchenko, Professor of Chemistry and
Pharmacy of Nizhyn Mykola Gogol State University. He with his American
partners tries to find possible ways to overcome the pandemic.
The main theses of the speech:
- Methodology for finding compounds that have antiviral activity (in
particular for recovery to coronaviruses SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV and
SARS-CoV-2) according to FDA standards.
- Criteria for antiviral activity of chemical compounds: EC50, CC50 (or
IC50), Si.
- The results of the antiviral action of the compound using coronaviruses
SARS-CoV-2, SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV and some features of dangerous
viruses: Yellow Fever, Tacaribe, H1N1, H3N2 and others.
- Prospects for creating a real antiviral drug for the treatment of the
disease.
